Twitter growth strategies
(I know it’s now “x” but I still call it twitter)
From the internet:
- Post consistently
- Post visual content (Rauno, Webflow components?)
- hashtags? (i’ve heard these don’t work anymore)
- Engage (reply guy)
- Be interesting (personality, curiosity, storytelling, relevance)
- Be human documenting things
- Post at the right times
- Giveaways (see below)
- Use hooks from swipe file (I need a swipe file)
- Engage in communities
- Threads should use hook, line, sinker model
- Ads
- Direct message people (who inspire you?)
- Create twitter polls
- Optimize profile
Example giveaway post
If your business bakes muffins you could create a step by step guide on how to make.
"Muffins like grandma use to make (But better)"
Then continue on with a recipe template and list of all the utensils you use to make it.
You would then just make a tweet saying something like:
"Let's be honest your muffins SUCK!
Even the dog sticks his nose up at them.
Well luck for you I have made a step-by-step guide on.
How to make muffins like grandma (But better)
Like + Comment "muffin’s" so I can send it over
(Reply with in 24 hours and ill include my utensil list)"
TL;DR:
Keep consistent and provide genuine value.
Don't be another bland, boring voice in the echo chamber that is Twitter.
